This is another one of my UFO quilts. Started this year, I am confident that this will not be a ten year project. The piece I have photographed is one quarter of the quilt. It's circles and squares put together and quilted as you go. A good one to take with you anywhere really. I found it beneath some boxes of fabric and thought, yes, must do a bit more of this...soon.
At last, a quilt that has been in the making for at least four years! My grandaughter (who is only nearly 2) owns this beautiful I Spy quilt and I finished it by adding a label onto the back of it this week.
There are so many different fabrics that Ebony is always entertained by it. Now, let me see, I think I have about fifteen more UFOs left to do. And that's without actually going to count them.
Our front garden today. Poppies, azaleas, day lillies, miniature peach blossom and potted freesias. Smelling like heaven, this greets me everytime I walk out into the garden. Also on the way are roses. I love spring. The colours I see each day inspire me with my colour choices for the quilts that I make.
